Check Out What It's Like to:

Be a Developer at L3Harris | ForceX:

  • When was the last time you saw a software developer writing code onboard a military special operations aircraft? At L3Harris | ForceX, our developers don’t just sit behind a desk, they build software right alongside our nation’s elite operators.
Just speak to one of our customers and you’ll know that what you create is making a difference on the battlefield. They’ll tell you about how they used some of the software features you wrote to secure a hostage or keep American soldiers safe. You’ll be turning ones and zeros into lives saved – and that’s what will keep you coming back for more.

Be a Quality Assurance Engineer at L3Harris | ForceX:

  • Good quality assurance engineers are what separate lines of code from a usable application, but at L3Harris | ForceX you’ll do more than just write and execute test cases. Our QA engineers become linchpins for our customers when it comes to configuration management, hardware setup and software installation.
Flying onboard special operations aircraft, you can turn a test flight from a failure into a success with a few novel configuration changes. Highly trained military aircrews will rely on you to be the expert on their systems, making sure everything is setup and ready to go before the next mission. Quality at L3Harris | ForceX isn’t just stable, bug-free software – it means doing whatever it takes to ensure that our customers succeed.

Be a Project Engineer at L3Harris | ForceX:

  • Project engineers (PEs) at L3Harris | ForceX are the heart and soul of each program. On any given day, PEs wear many different hats, meaning they have to excel at gathering requirements, hardware configuration and team leadership. If you would describe your professional skillset like a Swiss Army knife, you might be a great fit!
PEs work closely with our customers as their first point of contact, learning about their needs and turning them into fully realized user stories. PEs configure the hardware components (radios, networks, and sensors) controlled by our mission management software and are the solutions experts with whom our end users consult most often. When our customer needs a software/hardware install in an austere combat environment as soon as possible, our PEs are always up to the task.
  • Whether you have a military or technical background (or both!), working as a Project Engineer at L3Harris | ForceX gives you a hands-on way to shape the tools our nation’s warfighters use every day.
